How We Work

Our methodology is grounded in research on the vertical leadership process and in the principles of Requisite Organisation and RO7.

  1. Clarifying future direction and pushed position
    We begin by defining the organisation’s future ambition, strategic direction and pushed position in order to clarify the level of complexity and capability the organisation must be designed to handle.
  2. Analysing organisational levels, roles and management structure
    Using time-span analysis and structured role evaluation, we assess whether organisational levels, accountabilities, authorities and decision horizons are coherent and aligned with the work that needs to be done.
  3. Assessing leadership-system alignment
    We examine the interrelated factors that shape organisational effectiveness — including task clarity, structure, capability, managerial practices, system coherence and cultural context — to identify misalignments that may constrain performance.
  4. Designing for greater coherence and effectiveness
    Based on this analysis, we support leaders in aligning strategy, structure, roles, leadership responsibilities and cultural expectations so that the organisation is better able to support performance, resilience and future growth.
  5. Building effectiveness over time
